Top 10 Things to Know Before the Bite for the Fight Food Festival

We can’t wait to see you all at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center Fairgrounds at Oaks on Saturday, September 19th. Before the event, we wanted to share tips and reminders to help you enjoy every minute of this year’s event.

Here are the top 10 things to know before the 2024 Bite for the Fight Food Festival:

1. All Bite for the Fight Food Festival attendees must be 21 or older.

2. The event tickets are “virtual” (there are no paper tickets). Please have your information ready, and our staff will check on you when you arrive.

3. The event starts promptly at noon; all ticket holders can arrive now.

4. We have a new location in 2024! Please note the Bite for the Fight Food Festival will take place at the Fairgrounds at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. Once you arrive on-site, we will have plenty of signage to point you in the right direction of the event area and parking; however, please note the following when navigating via GPS:

   If using Waze, search "Greater Philadelphia Fairgrounds” to take you directly to the event site.

   If you are using Apple Maps, search “100 Station Ave, Oaks, PA 19456” (it may come up as Phoenixville, PA); this will take you to the main Expo Center Building. You can then reference this map or follow signs to the Fairgrounds southeast of the main building on Mill Road.

5. Dress casually. Our theme color is purple (Makenna’s favorite color).

6. Food Festival – remember, this is an all-you-can-taste event! So, don’t be shy.

7. Taste as much as you’d like and then vote for the Best Bite. The voting for Best Bite will end at 3:15 pm.

8. Many of our food and beverage vendors will also sell their products on-site so that you can taste and shop.

9. Live Auction—Create/update your GiveSmart account and save your credit card information before coming to the event. This will make bidding during the live auction easier. Click here to register/update your account.

10. And last but certainly not least, we have a jam-packed list of special guests appearing at the event…so we don’t want you to miss any of the action! See below for our Main Stage and VIP Tent schedules for your reference:

• 12:00 PM – Doors Open Kick off the afternoon with an all-you-can-eat tasting experience featuring standout bites from local favorites. The Silent Auction opens, start bidding on exclusive items and experiences!

• 12:30 PM – Chef Brian Duffy Demo & Meet + Greet Get up close with our first featured chef during a live culinary demonstration, followed by a chance to meet, mingle, and snap photos.

• 1:30 PM – Chef Kenny McDuffie Demo & Meet + Greet Watch, learn, and connect with culinary talent.

• 2:30 PM – Chef Ariane Duarte Demo & Meet + Greet Our final chef showcases their signature style in a high-energy demonstration you won't want to miss.

• 3:30 PM – Presentation & Awards
